Dr. Elizabeth Samuel is a diplomate of the American Board of psychiatry and neurology.  She received her medical degree from the University of Kerala, Trivandrum Medical College in India, graduating with first class honors. After medical school, Dr. Samuel underwent a 6 month externship training in Neurology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. This experience solidified her desire to pursue a career in neurology. She completed her internship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan followed by residency in Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In addition, Dr. Samuel also underwent fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology, also at the UTSW Medical center, Dallas.

Dr. Samuel is board certified in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. She practices general neurology and has a special interest in epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson’s disease and headache. She is trained to perform EMG, EEG and Botox injections for various neurological indications.

Dr. Samuel is credentialed at the Baylor Scott & White medical center in Carrollton, Texas. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Texas Neurological Society and Tarrant County Medical Society.
